June 29, 2016: Urgent Appeal!
Dear Devotees! Woodstock 2016 is just around the corner. We are short on manpower this year and require at least 100 more devotees to help us in Krsna’s Village Of Peace. We need devotees willing to serve selflessly in the kitchen, distributing prasadam, driving vans, cleaning, security, cleanup and many other practical services.
The mood of our village is to give our guests the opportunity experience the joy of Krsna consciousness. We work hard behind the scenes. But there will be plenty of time for devotee helpers to also participate in the daily Ratha Yatras and the Kirtan Tent — where Madhava prabhu, Bada Haridas, Mahatma, Sri Prahlada, myself and others will be leading non-stop kirtans.
The organizers are expecting 750,000 people. Our village is very safe, secure and clean. Our accommodation is very simple; we sleep in classrooms in local schools which we rent for the week.
The dates for Woodstock are July 13 – 17. The festival is held in Kostrzyn, Poland only 2 hours drive from Berlin, Germany. We can arrange to pick you up in Berlin ( and return you there after the festival ) but we are unable to pay transportation from your home city.
We are especially appealing to European devotees who do not require a visa to Poland; devotees from the Baltics, the Balkans, Hungary, the UK, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands etc. We have 600 confirmed devotees coming, but again, we require at least 100 more. It will be extremely difficult for us unless we get that help.
Krsna’s Village of Peace Woodstock is a preaching program of epic proportions. We will distribute prasadam to just under 200,000 people ( 45 tons of Bhoga ) do Ratha Yatra through the crowds each day and introduce the tens of thousands of people who visit our village to Krsna consciousness through kirtan, theaters, yoga, questions and answers tents, etc.
We will be celebrating our 26th year at Woodstock. Rumors are this may be the last Woodstock so please consider joining us for a spiritual experience of a lifetime.
Photos in this album are all from our village during Woodstock 2015 to give you an idea of the event.
If you are interested to join us, or have any questions, please write to me personally at:
June 29, 2016: Starting Up
Most devotees have arrived at our countryside base in Poland for our 26th annual festival tour. Our camp has become a beehive of activity aswe busily prepare for the 50 large events we will hold along the coast this summer. It is our offering to Srila Prabhupada, celebrating his coming to the west 50 years ago. May he look kindly upon us!

June 27, 2016: Well Received In Moldova
Moldova, a small landlocked country between Romania and Ukraine, has a unique culture all it’s own. By the mercy of Lord Caitanya our festival tour was well received in the capitol, Chisinau, and several other towns and villages. In fact, everywhere in the world where we take our festival program people are fascinated by the spiritual culture of Krsna consciousness and chant and dance with us in great ecstasy.
June 22, 2016: Into The Heartland Of Moldova
Yesterday we ventured into the heartland of Moldova to the village of Aneni Noi. The surrounding countryside provided a scenic background for our festival which was attended by over 6,000 guests. Aneni Noi now has the proud distinction of being part of Lord’s Caitanya’s prediction that His holy names will be heard in every town and village of the world.
June 21, 2016: Short and Sweet
A one-minute clip of our one-hour show on prime time Moldavian television!
June 20, 2016: About One Million People
This morning myself and several disciples were on, “Wake Up!” Moldova’s most popular morning talk show. For over an hour we discussed Krishna conscious philosophy, did a cooking demonstration and much to the delight of our hosts, decorated them with flower garlands, henna and gopi-dots. Afterwards I asked one of the cameramen how many people were watching. He replied nonchalantly, “About one million people. And that’s not including Romania, where the show was also aired.”
June 20, 2016: A Few Drops of Nectar
Today Bada Haridas prabhu joined us after a short break in the USA. Devotees were overjoyed to see him again. He stepped right into our second festival in Moldova. His eyes lit up when he saw the massive tent filled with guests eager to see our show. Word had spread it was the biggest event of the year. Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
June 19, 2016: Victory!
Our first festival of the summer season in Chisinau, Moldova, was a grand success. Over 5,000 people attended. Our new theater entitled “Vrindavan” was greatly appreciated. The stunning costumes, the soundtrack and the professional acting had the entire audience mesmerized. Seeing so many people enjoying and appreciating Krsna conscious for the first time gave great satisfaction to all the devotees. Srila Prabhupada, we are pleased to offer you yet another victory in the sankirtan movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu!
June 18, 2016: Seeking the Vaisnava’s Blessings
Dear devotees everywhere: This evening we begin a 2 1/2 month summer festival tour. Myself and a team of 300 devotees will hold a festival every day of the week, except Mondays, from now until the beginning of September. It means well over 50 festival programs, including the great Woodstock festival in early July where just under a million people are expected. We are beginning here in Moldova and moving to the Baltic Sea Coast in Poland next week. This is a herculean task and we beg your blessings, along with the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Caitanya, to be successful. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that we may touch the hearts of literally hundreds of thousands of conditioned souls in the weeks and months ahead. Thank you! All glories to Sri Krsna Sankirtan!
June 18, 2016: Beginning Tonight In Moldova
Moldova is landlocked country in Eastern Europe, bordered by Romania and Ukraine. With a population of only 3.5 million people it is one of the smallest countries in Europe. Yesterday, after a 24 hour bus ride, a team of 50 devotees from our upcoming summer festival tour in Poland arrived in Chisinau, the capitol of Moldova, for a week of festivals throughout the country. Our large 40 ton semi-trailer, which folds out into a large 12-meter stage, took three days to arrive in Moldova through Hungary and Romania. The Moldavian devotees have been active for months preparing the festivals, which begin tonight in a beautiful park in the center of Chisinau. We’ll be busy with practices and preparations up to the very last moment!
June 17, 2016: GoFundMe for Ragini dasi
Dear Devotees and Friends: I have created a GoFundMe appeal for a dear Godsister named Ragini dasi who lives alone in a small apartment in Bordeaux, France. She is suffering from terminal Cancer and needs some basic facilities to continue to the end. Please donate generously. Certainly Srila Prabhupada is pleased when we serve his spiritual sons and daughters when they are in great need. We have created a GoFundMe account for donating in US dollars and another GoFundMe account for donating in Euros. Other currencies should work in one or the other. Details below.
June 15, 2016: London At It’s Very Best!
George Harrison’s gift of Bhaktivedanta Manor to the Hare Krishna Movement in 1973 has proven invaluable throughout the years. The success of the Manor reached a crescendo last weekend with a visit from the Prime Minister, Mr. David Cameron. We felt fortunate to attend the festivities. We also visited ISKCON’s Radha Krishna Temple in downtown London. With Krishna in the center, and bright sunny weather throughout our visit, London was truly at it’s very best.
June 12, 2016: Visit to Bhaktivedanta Manor
A video of the UK Prime Minister, David Cameron’s, visit to Bhaktivedanta Manor yesterday. Seeing how the samkirtan movement of Lord Caitanya is quickly spreading to the 4 corners of the world, Srila Prabhupada must be very happy.
June 11, 2016: Prime Minister David Cameron at Bhaktivedanta Manor
The Prime Minister of England, Mr. David Cameron, was ISKCON’s special guest yesterday at a groundbreaking ceremony for a large new complex on the property. He began his talk to a prestigious crowd of dignitaries and devotees with a resounding, “Hare Krishna!” and went on to congratulate ISKCON by praising Srila Prabhupada on his creation of a “global mission.” It was a great milestone in the history of the British Yatra.
June 10, 2016: Krishna In The Heart Of London
As we held a beautiful and colorful initiation ceremony in our temple, just off Oxford Street in the heart of London, the city awoke to a beautiful warm summer morning. Radha London Isvara’s blessings seemed to be present everywhere. [ Photos by Ananta Vrindavan dasa ]
June 7, 2016: Radha Krsna Temple London
Just hours after my flight from New York had landed in London I was off to 10 Soho Street for a program at ISKCON’s famous downtown temple. The darshan of Radha London Iswara was breathtaking, the association of the British devotees sweet as it comes and the prasadam as great as ever. Good to be back in England!]
June 6, 2016: Devi Kumari’s Wedding
Some year’s ago I met a young lady from America – a spiritual seeker – who was visiting Vrindavan. I preached to her and encouraged her to take up the path of Krsna consciousness. I have enjoyed seeing her make nice spiritual progress through the years under the shelter of HH Radhanath Swami. Just this morning I learned she was getting married at the Bhakti Center in New York, so I drove 2 hours down from Newburgh to New York with several devotees and surprised her at the wedding. We could only stay for 30 minutes because of another program we had back in Newburgh. So while Ananta Vrindavan took a few photos we wished Devi Kumari dasi and Wojciech a wonderful Krsna conscious marriage and proceeded on our way. Everyone send them your blessings!
June 4, 2016: Kirtan In The Blue Ridge Mountains
Krsna’s holy names resounded through the hills and valleys of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina at the recent Sadhu Sanga Retreat. Two thousand devotees relished each other’s association at one of ISKCON America’s biggest functions of the year, celebrating Srila Prabhupada’s arrival in the country 50 years ago.
